If you don’t feel like drinking all the pumpkin ales flooding the market (most of them are okay at best), look for Southern Tier Imperial Pumking. It earns its name. Yes, it’s better than Dogfish Head. Yes, better than Sixpoint Autumnation. Yes, better than Blue Point. According to BeerAdvocate, there are only a few other small craft ales that surpass it, but Pumking is likely easier for you to find. Seriously.
